ORITA Chiaki

Concept

Still life paintings, one of the genres of Western painting, are works in which the artist freely arranges and composes still natural objects such as fruits and vessels. In this work, the artist has created a new expression of still-life painting by reconstructing the motif from 100 images obtained from an image search on the Internet. "Grape" contains not only purple but also green, and "Apple" contains not only fruits but also iMac and iPhone devices, visualizing fruits in a multifaceted way.
