STREET 3.0 "Kamagasaki University of Arts, The Concept of Makoto Aida's Room - That's why I want to love.-" is completed in the Semba Excel Building based on the desire by Makoto Aida that create an exhibition space connected with the exhibition of Kamagasaki University of Arts.

Kamagasaki University of Arts in Nishinari has a room where Yasumasa Morimura, a leading contemporary Japanese  artist living in Osaka, and Norimasa Sakashita, a worker from Kagoshima, encountered each other. Their works are displayed all around the room. This exhibition space is named 'The Concept of Makoto Aida's Room,' inspired by the imagination of curator Miwa Kutsuna. It explores the idea of what if there was a room of Makoto Aida at Kamagasaki University of Arts, like 'The Room of Morimura Yasumasa'?

We expect that audience will confront the work" Umeboshi" in this mysterious space. Also, we hope you will ruminate on the meaning of why this work exists as one of the pieces in the exhibition 'STREET 3.0: Where is the Street?,' which explores the intersection of street and art.
